Make plans to stop by Chelsea Community Hospital Thursday, March 14 between 7 a.m.-2 p.m. for the annual spring bake sale and craft show hosted by the hospital’s volunteer group.

And, your purchases will benefit the future Comprehensive Cancer Center at the hospital.

There will be cookies, candy, cakes, coffee cakes, pies and all kinds of beautiful craft items in the former physical therapy room near the cafeteria.

Plus, have you seen the fundraising cookbook that the volunteers are selling? It, too, will be available for sale. Just in time to try out some new recipes for Easter.

The volunteers have pledged $100,000 over five years for the new cancer center and this event is an important one to help them achieve their goal.

Once inside, there will be signs directing folks to the room where the sale’s taking place, and there’s a free shuttle from the hospital’s parking areas.

It’s recommended that for the best selection of items that people arrive before 1 p.m.
