Hometown Holiday: Common Chords bell choir, gift-making at the library

Celebrate the start of Hometown Holiday with a heart-warming performance by the Common Chords hand bell choir at the Chelsea District Library on Nov. 30 from 7-8:30 in the McKune Room.

After the performance, audience members of any age are invited to try their hand at playing the bells. Music, refreshments and good cheer kick-off a great Chelsea tradition. No registration necessary, just drop-in.

In addition, do you have a teen or tween that needs a present for a friend or family member?

On Saturday, Dec. 1 from 3-3:30 p.m., also in the McKune Room, teens and tweens are invited to make a holiday present at the library during this special workshop. And, parents, while your child is making a gift, you can head out shopping.

All supplies will be provided, but registration is required.

Call the library at 475-8732 or go here and click on the Calendar tab to register or to receive more information.
