It’s time for you to join the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce

Chelsea chamberIf you are a business owner and aren’t a member of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, here’s what the chamber staff has done fr members so far this year.

They have assisted close to 2,700 callers and about 1,100 people who have walked into the office on Main Street with questions.

In addition, chamber staff has responded to more than 4,700 emails.

You have missed out on eight business after hours networking events and three business breakfasts.

The chamber has hosted five ribbon cuttings, an annual meeting, the Citizen of the Year and Business Leader banquets and hosted two travel writer tours.

Almost 20 networking events during the year.

Plus, members have a chance to talk about their business on the Lucy Ann Lance radio show.

As 2014 draws to a close, it’s time to consider joining your very active Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce and reap the benefits of all the chamber staff can do to help you grow your business.

Plus, the chamber supports community events such as family bowling, a golf outing, and Hometown
Holiday, just to name a few. These are all opportunities for your business to advertise, support, and participate.

The chamber also has a table at the Hockey Showcase in February, the Chelsea Expo in April, and at the Chelsea Community Fair in August.

So, next time you wonder what your Chamber of Commerce does for your business, remember its mission is to help build a thriving community within which your business can flourish.

The chamber provides the opportunities, now it’s up to you join and take advantage of them.

Joining the chamber was one of the first things I did after I began publishing Chelsea Update and Bob Pierce and his staff have always been there to help me with business questions. Best money I’ve spent on this small business.
