Diver Jake Burris of Chelsea is representing Albion College among the Oct. 29 Athletes of the Week in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
A senior, Burris achieved scores that place him among the top 20 Division III divers at this point of the season in a dual meet at Kalamazoo College last Saturday.
Burris won both diving events, setting a score of 291.55 on the 1-meter board and 279.16 in the 3-meter competition.
The next meet for the Albion swimming and diving teams is a quad meet at Calvin College on Friday and Saturday.
