Jan. 14: new community women’s Bible Study begins

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Gretchen Zale for the information in this story.)

“Irresistible:  Reclaiming the New That Jesus Unleashed for the World” is the title of the new Community Women’s Bible Study, meeting for six weeks on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m., from Jan. 14 to Feb. 18 in room 412 of the 400 Building of the Washington Street Education Center (WSEC).

Andy Stanley, considered by some as one of the ten most influential Christian pastors in America, encourages attendees via video and study guide to consider what made the faith and message modeled by our first-century brothers and sisters (who had no official Bible, no status, and humanly speaking, little chance of survival) so compelling, so defensible  … so irresistible?

What did they know that we don’t?

Stanley will invite you to embrace the version of faith that, against all odds, initiated a chain of events resulting in the most significant and extensive cultural transformation the world has ever seen.

A version we must embrace if we are to be salt and light in an increasingly savorless and dark world.

Please call 734-475-9868 (Joyce Bradley) for more information.
