Chelsea Community members and Be The Match are holding a bone marrow registry drive for Jan Cooper on Thursday, June 25 during Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights at the Common Grill.
Cooper is battling leukemia.
Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 44 years old but you can also support her by becoming a part of the bone marrow registry or by making a financial donation to the Jan Cooper Medical Fund.
If you are not able to become a bone marrow registrant and/or would like to help, community members are collecting monetary donations to help defray the cost of her medical expenses. You may write a check to “Jan Cooper Medical Fund” and send it to Chelsea State Bank, 305 S. Main St., Chelsea, Michigan 48118.
