June 17: Monitors Planning Fundraiser Game

(Chelsea Update would like to thank “Honest Jon” Van Hoek for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Monitors are planning a fundraiser game to benefit mental health initiatives on June 17 beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a community game, then  the team’s game v. the Kalamazoo Continentals at 1 p.m.

The fundraiser game is a great annual tradition we’d like to keep going, and with mental health continuing to be a critical issue here in our community and in our schools, we’d really like to support this great initiative again as much as possible.

There is no charge for admission to the game nor is there a mandatory donation, but 100 percent of the donations will go to the Peer-to-Peer Depression Awareness Campaign at Beach Middle School and Chelsea High School.

If anyone is unable to attend the game, but would still like to contribute to the fundraiser, they can contact us at [email protected] or 248-930-6130.
