(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jean Bust for the information in this story.)

On Sunday, June 26, members of St. Paul UCC invite the Chelsea community to a “Celebration Sunday” in honor of Pastor James C. Coyl and family. Everyone is invited to attend worship with us at 10 a.m. and then attend a luncheon in his honor after the worship service.

Pastor Coyl will be moving to Pensacola, Fla. to become the new pastor at The Pensacola Beach Community Church effective July 1. He moved to Chelsea from the Chicago area with his wife, Susan, and six children in March, 2011.  St. Paul was his first pastorship and he was ordained at St. Paul.

During his tenure in the Chelsea community he has mentored many, become friend to many and led the community to be “United in the Spirit.”

Please join our congregation in a fond farewell and good wishes.
