Laura O’Brien’s Holiday ‘Sweets’ Tasting at Gee Farms

HOLIDAYcollage
Pastry chef Laura O’Brien, who was the assistant pastry chef at the former Glee Cake and Pastry, will be hosting a special Holiday Open House and Tasting of her sweet creations at Gee Farms in Stockbridge on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 3-5 p.m.

The event is free and open to all and the farm is at 14928 Bunkerhill Road in Stockbridge.

O’Brien started her “Sweets and Treats” business in 2013.

“I learned from the best in Glee Havens,” says O’Brien. “Many of the desserts that we are making were created in the kitchen at Glee’s.

In addition to the samples of treats, guests will enjoy hot cider, coffee, wine from Sandhill Crane Vineyards and listen to holiday music. O’Brien will be offering Gift Baskets, Corporate Gifts and her full line of cakes, cookies, desserts and pastries for holiday orders.

She also offers wedding cakes, cupcake towers, brownies/bars, cakes, cheesecake buffet, cookies and cupcakes, dessert buffet and gifts (boxed).

“Guests at our tasting will get a chance to sample a variety of desserts, cakes and so on and then place orders for the holiday season,” says O’Brien.

They will cater and create for almost any event including: Birthdays/parties, funerals, graduations, showers, corporate events and weddings.
