Chelsea Community Kitchen board member Peter di Lorenzi will discuss and demonstrate (with a tasting) healthy, hearty one-pot meals, which can be made in conventional casseroles, crock-pots and pressure cookers.

The tempting demonstration will take place Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Chelsea District Library and registration is required by calling 475-8732, ext. 219 or online at Library’s calendar page by clicking on the title of the event.

“The emphasis will be on tips for smart prepping, maximizing flavor and using simple, healthy ingredients. In addition to tastings, participants will receive copies of discussion notes, recipes and tips,” according to information about the event.

During the presentation, di Lorenzi welcomes comments, sharing and questions.

The event is sponsored by the Chelsea District Library Community Read in partnership with Chelsea Community Kitchen.
