Letter to Class of 2020 Athletes

Dear Class of 2020:

On behalf of our coaches, athletic staff, and community I want to thank you for all you have done during your time as a Bulldog athlete.

There is nothing I can say that will make you feel better about the loss of a large part of your senior year. I know that in many ways it is heart breaking for all of you.

I especially feel for all of the spring sport athletes that never got to compete in the sport that you love. We all know that this is what we must do, but it doesn’t make it easy.

It is important that each of you understand how much all of us care about you individually and as a group. We are committed to making sure that the Class of 2020 will never be forgotten.

There are so many great memories that all of you have.

As coaches and staff, we know the great moments on the field, court, mat, ice, lanes, and pool. As the athletic director I have had the privilege of watching almost all of you compete.

Those are all great memories.

There were so many great moments this year and over the past four years. However, the best memories are the ones that only the athletes and coaches will know. The special friendships that are developed at practice, team meals, and team building moments.

Those are memories that will live with you forever.

We will do everything we can under the circumstances to honor our senior athletes. In addition to things we can do now, I really look forward to having you come back to games and school next school year.

You are always a part of Chelsea Athletics. We always say, “Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog.” That is not just a saying, it is the truth. All of us cannot wait to see all of you again and to follow your success in the future.

Go Bulldogs!

Brad Bush
Athletic Director / Assistant Principal
