Message from Brad Bush about Bulldog sports

I am happy to announce that we will be “re-opening” Chelsea High School athletics on Monday, June 15.

Our goal is to begin the process of working with our student-athletes and beginning our summer program on that date.

We will follow all health and safety guidelines as outlined by the MHSAA.

The first two weeks of workouts will be for high school students only. This is for students that will be in 9-12 grade in the fall.

Our hope is that in July we can offer some sessions for middle school students as well if they are interested. I will keep everyone updated.

CHELSEA ATHLETICS REOPENING PLAN

We will also be hosting a parent and athlete zoom meeting on Wednesday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m.

We will be sending out a link for this meeting via email and social media. We will go over all of the details of summer workouts and the fall season ahead. We will also try to answer all of your questions.

Finally, with all of the changes and updates that are ongoing due to COVID-19, we are encouraging parents and students of incoming 7th-12th graders to sign up for text notifications * from Chelsea Athletics for those who have a mobile device.

This will allow us to communicate important information regarding athletics in a quick fashion as it becomes available.

To sign up for text notifications, simply text @bulldogchs to 81010.

If you’re having trouble with 81010, try texting @bulldogchs to (734) 666-0332.

If you do not have a mobile phone, you can go to rmd.at/bulldogchs on a desktop computer to sign up for email notifications.

Of course, we will also continue to push out information via email and on our social media platforms as well.

*Standard text message rates apply.
