New at the Chelsea Community Fair Board is nightly live entertainment played by local musicians.
On Tuesday, Aug. 19, Coconut Radio will play from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Extrusions will play from 8-10 p.m. Both bands play rock and roll.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Rick Brown and Jack Falk will play country rock from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Brian Brill, Jed Fritzemeier and Eric Nyhius will play straight jazz from 8-10 p.m.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, Mixed Nuts will play rock and roll from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Los Dingos Del Norte will play bluesy rock from 8-10 p.m.
On Friday, Aug. 22, North Creek Fiddlers will play American folk music from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and the Chelsea House Orchestra will play Celtic folk music from 8-10 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, the 5:30-7:30 time slot is open at this point but Liquid Plasma will play rock and roll from 8-10 p.m.
The bands will play just inside the yellow gate near the Service Center Building and this new entertainment is free with admission.
