This year, the 8th annual Wine, Women and Shopping ladies’ day in Chelsea is set for Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. with 29 stores and restaurants participating.
The event kicks off the holiday season with lots of fun and shopping in a relaxed atmosphere prior to the mad rush. Many of Chelsea’s charming boutiques and shops serve refreshments and have special events.
In addition, there will be two artists’ markets taking place. The new Chelsea Artist Guild will set up in the Clocktower Commons and there will be an Artisans’ Market in the Chelsea Depot as well.
Plus, there will be a special canned food drive for Faith in Action.
Alta Brown of Chelsea Antiques says, “Our goal is to fill the pantry before Thanksgiving.”
She asks everyone to bring canned goods to the intersection of Middle and Main streets — the collection area will be highly visible with balloons.
