Oct. 12: free community breakfast at Chelsea First United Methodist Church

Chelsea First United Methodist Church, located at 128 Park St., will host a free community breakfast from 8:30-11.

Everyone is invited, especially those who might be struggling to make ends meet.  Along with a delicious hot breakfast, the church also provides bags of household products – paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, dish washing soap and detergent for those who might need them.

The church serves a full breakfast – with bacon, eggs, hash browns, waffles, oatmeal, applesauce, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

A craft table is set up for children to enjoy as adults linger over their coffee.

Dates for November 2019 – May 2020 are:

Nov. 9, Dec. 14, Jan. 11 2020, Feb. 8, March 14, April 11, May 9

Persons who might like to take part in cooking, or serving the breakfast can contact the church office at 475-8119 for more information.

Donations to help cover the costs of the meal and household products are accepted, but not necessary.
