There’s a great selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, baked goods, and more at the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market.

The market will be open through Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the parking lot of the Chelsea State Bank at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12 and runs from1-5 p.m.

This Wednesday there will be plenty of pumpkins and gourds for sale along with a variety of apples and apple cider.

There will be pears and plums available along with squash, peppers, onions, and tomatoes.

Fresh breads, cakes, and cookies will also be for sale, and artisans will be selling pottery, jewelry, bird houses, and more.

Everyone who enters the market must wear a mask, and there are masks available for those who don’t have one. Vendors, volunteers, and market staff are also required to wear a mask.

Market Manager Emily Griswold asks anyone with any sign of illness to please stay home.

Everyone is asked to practice social distancing of 6-10 feet and not to linger.

Shoppers will be asked to follow one-way pedestrian traffic signs using one entrance and one exit. There will also be hand washing stations.

Shoppers are asked not to touch or sample products, and vendors will choose and bag items.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to go to the market’s website: https://chelseafarmersmkt.org or to check for updates on social media.
