There are still outdoor farmers markets in Chelsea every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the month of October.

You’ll find plenty of fresh produce, baked goods, and more at this Wednesday’s market, located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US12. The market runs from 1-5 p.m.

The vegetables of autumn include eggplant, peppers, squash, gourds, and corn.

The fruits of the season include pears, plums, and apples along with apple cider.

There will be a variety of breads available at the Wednesday market as well as cakes and cookies. You’ll also find jam, eggs, cheese and meat.

Artisans will be selling jewelry, pottery, candles and birdhouses.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle-Lane Farms, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), and Smellz So Good (candles).
