Please take the Chelsea Community Center Feasibility Study survey

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Andrew Thomson for the information in this story.)

Dear Chelsea Area Residents:

During the past year, with support from the Chelsea Community Foundation, a volunteer committee of community members has been exploring the possibilities and feasibility of having a community center in Chelsea.

Your input is an essential part of this process.  Wade Trim Associates, a Michigan consulting firm with expertise in community planning and recreation, has been retained to conduct a feasibility study.

You have the opportunity to participate in this online survey, which will ask your ideas about a possible community center, recreational, creative, social and educational programming and facilities within the Chelsea area.

It is very important that we obtain feedback from as many Chelsea area residents as possible.  The results will be used to inform community leaders on the recreational, social and educational needs within the Chelsea area.

The survey can be accessed online here.

A link to the survey can also be found on the Chelsea Community Center’s Facebook
page here.

Your answers will be confidential and no identifying information will be shared or reported.

We also would love to hear from you in person at our Community Center Feasibility booth at Chelsea Sounds and Sights Festival on July 25, between the hours of 2-6 p.m. We look forward to hearing from you and getting your input.
