The Michigan State Police, Brighton Post, and the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in multiple home invasions, which occurred while the victims were attending funeral services for family members.
The home invasions have occurred over the last month in multiple counties including Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe, and Oakland according to the crime alert.
The suspect appears to be targeting homes of the recently deceased or family members of the decedent that are listed in the obituary.
During the investigation of an incident in Washtenaw County, police have obtained surveillance photos of a suspect believed to be involved in the crime.
The suspect is driving a silver, four-door vehicle, believed to be a Pontiac Grand Prix.
