Francis Xavier Thibeault of Chelsea, age 90, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1925, in Ecorse, MI, the son of Charles M. and Leona Thibeault. On Aug. 30, 1947, he married Ilene Kathleen McMillan in Ecorse and she preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2015.
Francis served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a bus driver for Taylor Schools. Francis and Ilene were members of the “Wolverine” parish. He was a straight shooter, never beat around the bush, and will be remembered for his dry sense of humor. He was everyone’s friend and “go-to man,” and was loved by all. He was a great dad and grandfather.
