Recent Obituary: Lois J. Chiesa, Katherine ‘Kitty’ Randall Moore

Lois J. Chiesa of Chelsea, age 87, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Chelsea Retirement Community.

She was born Jan. 18, 1931 in Arma, Kansas, the daughter of Frank L. and Mary (Dugoni) Wilson.

Lois did volunteer work for many years at Bayshore Windmill Village, Freedom Village, and Beaumont Hospital.  She liked to say, “Think of me with a smile or don’t think of me at all.”

A private memorial service will be held Cole Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Mansion Memorial Gardens in Ellenton, FL.

Katherine “Kitty” Randall Moore passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 with many of her family members by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Lena Mae Kelly as well as her three sisters: Loraine (Roy) Robine, Ruby (Fred) Andris, and Patricia (Harold) Acker.

After Kitty graduated from South Eastern High School in Detroit, she applied for employment with the State of Michigan in Ypsilanti. It was there that she met her future husband, Kenneth Bernard (Bernie) Randall. It didn’t take them long to know, they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They were married on December 20th, 1947. 

A celebration of Kitty’s life will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 12:30 at the Comfort Inn Village Conference Center in Chelsea. Kitty’s ashes will be buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Manchester at a later date.
