Reminder: Chocolate Extravaganza All Day on Feb. 11

Chocolate Extravaganza will take place on Feb.11 starting at 10 a.m. with many downtown businesses staying open until 8 pm.

Among the special events are:

The following schedule of festivities will be happening throughout the day while you are shopping and dining. 

10 a.m.-noon: Mindo Chocolate Makers – Informative fun facts about all things chocolate plus hot chocolate samples @ Agricole Farm Stop

11 a.m. while supplies last: A Penguin Egg Hunt. Children ages 2-7 can hunt for chocolate-filled penguin eggs located inside and outside of participating downtown stores. Look for the penguin fliers on doors and window fronts to find participating businesses.

11-3:30 p.m.: Chelsea Chamber sponsored Vendor Market (Click HERE for vendor Lineup) @ Chelsea First Congregational Church on Middle Street.

Noon-2 p.m.: AG Chocolates – the art of making chocolate plus samples, shared by Chris Kitley, Owner. @ Agricole Farm Stop

Noon-2 p.m.: Juggling master Willy Wonka will be juggling throughout downtown, adding to the merriment.

12:30-1:15 p.m. and 1:45-2:30 p.m.: Lakehouse Bakery Owner Keegan Rogers will share his knowledge of all things chocolate in a presentation @ Chelsea First Congregational Church. Keegan will have special chocolate items for sale!

3-4:30 p.m.: Chef Emily of Chelsea Alehouse will be sharing her experience cooking with chocolate @ Chelsea First Congregational Church on Middle Street

All day: There will be four drawings;

1) Jiffy Mix– 24-box assortment plus a cookbook

2) One Night Stay at Chelsea Comfort Inn featuring a King Whirlpool Room with complimentary hot breakfast and two tickets to the Purple Rose Theatre

3) Gift basket full of Chelsea Goods

4) a $250 gift card to participating merchants, compliments of Mykala Mortgage Planning. Enter to win at Agricole and at the Chelsea First Congregational Church.
