Attention Chelsea dog owners or prospective dog owners.
In honor of the American Kennel Club‘s Responsible Dog Ownership Day, The Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring a responsible dog ownership day event on Saturday, Sept 22 from 1-4 p.m.
The event will take place at Canine Sports Recreation Center, 7275 Joy Road in Dexter, a training facility owned by Mandy Moller of Dexter Township.
There will be an all-breed AKC agility trial, along with painting with your dog and Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International testing.
In addition, there will also be information available on AKC’s other dog-related events.
Watch dogs run through an obstacle course and race against the clock, and learn about the sport of agility, how you and your dog can get involved, get training tips or just come with the family to have a good time.
Plus, if you have questions about a breed of dog or dog training questions, there will be experienced canine owners who can help you.
