SRSLY Looking For Youth Voices to Join Community Team

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kate Ankenbauer for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea community wants youth to join their team.

SRSLY Chelsea is inviting youth ages 12 and up with a passion for mental health and a desire to make their voices heard to become a part of a community coalition in a big way.

The coalition wants to hear youth-inspired ideas and provide the space for them to be achieved. Even better, they want youth to take the lead.

What exactly does this recruitment opportunity look like? Youth are invited to join any of the five teams:

  • Creative (branding, marketing, communications)
  • Awareness (advocacy, spreading awareness, social campaigns)
  • Program (events, trainings, programming)
  • Sustainability (fundraising, staffing, evaluations)
  • Community (volunteer recruitment, connecting with donors, networking) and get to work on making a difference in your community.

Know someone who’d be interested in signing up or are you someone who’s ready to sign up? To get started, please visit the Facebook page, SRSLY Chelsea, and click on the link to fill out an inquiry form. Curious but want a few more details? Please visit the Facebook page and click on the link to view a detailed flyer with more recruitment information.

For additional questions about youth recruitment, please contact Kate Ankenbauer at [email protected].
