Don’t forget the Saturday Chelsea Farmers Market this week at Palmer Commons on Main Street while the Chelsea Community Fair is going on at the Fairgrounds.

The farmers market begins at 8 a.m., but some vendors may start packing up at 12:30 p.m. because the Fair Parade begins at 1 p.m.

Load up on all the fresh vegetables of the season including corn and tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, eggplant, and much more.

Watermelons and cantaloupes and peaches will be among the fresh fruits available along with an array of color flowers including sunflowers.

A large selection of baked goods including breads, cookies, cakes, muffins, and pretzels will be for sale as well as seasonings, meats, cheeses, and a selection of crafts.

Performer Loyse Hoffman takes the stage at 10:30 a.m.
