Chelsea logoHere’s a reminder about Chelsea‘s water use and restrictions.

The ordinance states residents should not activate sprinklers between the hours of 5-10 a.m. daily. In addition, properties with odd-numbered addresses should irrigate only on odd-numbered days in the month, while properties with even-numbered addresses should only irrigate on even-numbered days of the month.

“Violation of this ordinance can result in a fine of $100 for the first violation, $200 for the second violation $300 for the third and $500 for each additional violation,” according to the city’s ordinance.

Here’s a link to the ordinance or you can get a printed copy from the City Offices during regular business hours, which are 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily, and there are extended hours on Tuesdays from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
