Tickets on sale now for March 19 Agriculture Banquet

The 2015 Washtenaw County Agriculture Banquet, sponsored by the Washtenaw County Dairy and Livestock Council in cooperation with Washtenaw County MSU Extension, will be held on Thursday, March 19 at Chelsea High School.

The annual banquet will begin with a prime rib and chicken dinner at 7 p.m. in the Commons Area.

Following dinner the “Distinguished Service to Agriculture” awards will be presented.  Entertainment will be provided by the Huron Valley Harmonizers. The evening will conclude with the drawing of door prizes, provided by the Washtenaw business community.

Tickets are available from the following Dairy and Livestock Council members: Jerry Kuhl, Dennis Trinkle, Denny Huehl, Trent Satterthwaite, Rod Powers, Howard Sias, Joe Koengeter, Robert Herrst and Bill VanRiper, Jr. of Chelsea;  Mike Schaible and Joel Powers of Manchester; Bob Bulmon and Garrett Fischer of Dexter; and David Bohnett, Paul Rothfuss and Rusty Exelby of Saline.

Tickets are also be available at the following agribusinesses: McCalla Feeds in Chelsea, United Producers, Inc.,  Wacker’s General Store in Manchester, Diuble Equipment in Ann Arbor, Dexter Mill and Bridgewater Sales and Service.

The deadline to purchase tickets is March 1.
