While you are out Christmas shopping, please add a toy for a tot or teen to your list and help a local family and child in need.
The Toys for Tots and Teens program, sponsored by the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Faith in Action, provides a child from the area with something fun on Christmas morning that he or she would not otherwise receive.
Unwrapped gifts should be dropped off before Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the chamber offices in the Palmer Auto Service building or at Chelsea Kidz Stop at 114 N. Main St., which is offering a 10-percent discount on all Toys for Tots and Teens purchases.
Also, please keep in mind that toys for teens are always needed.
All the toys stay in the Chelsea area, and Santa then will deliver the toys via chimney on Christmas Eve night.
