Scott and Kathy Hurst came with their three daughters, Brooke, 6, and twins Ellie and Norah, 4.

Ellie decorated her bike with hearts, Norah made a kitty for her bike, and Brooke made a rainbow and a unicorn head.

“The kids love it,” said Scott Hurst. “It’s a nice finish to the summer and a great start to the fair.”

“I like riding bikes,” said 4-year-old Nicholas Eder.

Kids from ages 3-12 were invited to participate.

The parade is a three decade old tradition with a route that leads to the fairgrounds.

Kiwanis Club members handed out free ride tickets to the participants for when they arrived at the fair.

The parade is sponsored and supervised by the Chelsea High Key Club as well as the Chelsea Kiwanis Club.
