On Monday, Jan. 15, about 55 folks braved the cold and snow to participate in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day march organized by One World One Family in Chelsea.

There were people of all ages from school children to seniors and among them were at least four Chelsea City Council members – Mayor Melissa Johnson and Council Member Peter Feeney, Tony Iannelli and Rick Catherman.

The group sang and chanted while walking down Main Street and came back on the other side and then headed to the library.

There efforts were greeted by friendly honks and waves from passersby.

Following the march, some of the folks headed to a showing of the movie “Hidden Figures.”
