There will be another On the Tracks’ concert tonight, April 2, beginning at 7 p.m. at The Depot, 125 Jackson St. featuring Allison Downey and Sue Fink.
There is a suggested donation of $15, which goes to the artists. Seating is first come, first serve.
“Two of my favorite ladies will be sharing the stage at our next songwriter showcase. Allison Downey is a singer, songwriter, storyteller, educator with numerous award-winning songs that have seen airplay across the US, in 5 countries, and XM Satellite Radio,” says Annie Capp, of On the Tracks.
“She weaves stories into her concerts and occasionally transforms into her alter-ego characters. Chicago-based singer/songwriter Sue Fink has been entertaining audiences since 2001 with her quirky tales of love gone awry. Her genre is acoustic/folk with a hint of jazz, and a large dollop of humor: think Christine Lavin, with a dash of Rickie Lee Jones, Melanie, and Nellie McKay,” Capp says.
