On Sunday, April 23 from 2-3 p.m., learn about “Helping Nature in Your Own Back Yard” at the Discovery Center.

Explore the ways you can enhance your own backyard for birds, butterflies, native pollinators, and other wildlife by planting native plants.

Naturalist Gary Siegrist will discuss how to choose native plants, how and where to plant them, where to buy them, and beautiful native alternatives to non-native invasive plants.

Information for planting larger areas will also be available.

Cost: $2/person or $5/family.

Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

Advance registration requested at 734-475-3170.
