The 8th Grade Gold basketball team defeated the Dexter Dreadnaughts Thursday night, 25-12.
The game was tied early in the fourth quarter, but the defense once again spurred the team to an offensive run to finish the game. Nick Christian, Holden Monica, Hally Wilkerson, and Mason Stribe all controlled the paint with some big rebounds. Aaron McDaniels, Gavin Bell, and Griffin Bell also played well. The whole team contributed in helping the Bulldogs with a victory of the rival Dreadnaughts.
The Gold team will take on Adrian Tuesday at home. Come on out and support them.
The 7th Grade Gold Basketball team defeated Dexter by a score of 24-9. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Patrick Kelleher with 12 points, Nathan Banotai with 10 points, and Shane Nold with eight.
AJ Mitchell created some excitement with a buzzer beating lay-up. Aiden Delwiche led the Bulldogs in rebounding.
