The 8th Grade Gold Football team traveled to Tecumseh last night where, despite overall team improvement, they were defeated by the Indians.
Good performances were recorded by Max Murphy and Doug Zarinnia on defense.
Offensively, quarterbacks Quinn Starkey and Nick Christian gave the ball to Nick Scritchfield and Dane Zorn for several impressive runs following the blocking of Jordan Holton, John Conlin and Jack Smith.
Brady Fleszar put the ball in the end zone for the Bulldogs with a great touchdown run and a Starkey to Zorn pass put the extra points on the board.
The 8th Grade Blue Football team lost to a powerful Monroe team, 22-50.
Aaron McDaniels scored 2 touchdowns on runs. The other touchdown was scored by Evan Vaughn on a fumble recovery he returned to the end zone. Anthony Pearce scored the Bulldogs’ extra points on a run.
