Beach Middle School girls basketball results

The 7th Grade Girls’ Gold Basketball Team finished its season by defeating Dexter by a score of 13-6 at Dexter Monday.

Helena Schultz had 8 points, Brianna Hay scored 4, Julia van Reesema scored 3, and Malory Stribe, Julia Schachinger, and Cassidy Kunzelman each scored 2 points for the Bulldogs. Great season girls.

The 7th Grade Girls’ Blue Basketball Team won a close game against Tecumseh last night 14-12. Playing well were Hannah Greenstein, Jenna Fosdick, Maddie Kemp, Maddie Vasquez, Gabby Udell, Jordan Holton, Skylar Staton and Emmie Bragg. The team will finish its season at Bedford today.

The 8th Grade Girls’ Blue Basketball Team ended its home schedule with a convincing win over Tecumseh.  Strong inside play by Emily Griggs and Page Stacy, along with solid guard play by Caroline Hirth, Alise Hale and Mallory Downer led to the win. The team would like to thank the fans for the support throughout the season.

The 8th Grade Girls’ Gold Basketball Team lost to Dexter last night 22-5. We ended up having 12 rebounds and 6 steals. Our season ended 6-5.  Scoring for the Bulldogs:  Anna Regis – 1 point, Audrey Phillips – 1 point, Jordan Seitz – 4 points.

On Feb. 27, the 8th Grade Gold Team Team fell to Saline 16-7. The team had a total of 7 steals and 12 rebounds.

This was the best defensive game the team has played the whole season. From the beginning of our season to now our team has really improved in multiple ways.

Those who scored were: Audrey Phillips – 2 points, Katelyn McKinley – 2 points, Anna Regis – 5 points, Mackenzie Schneider – 2 points, Rachel Melody – 2 points.
