Chelsea Freshman football downs Tecumseh, 37-0

The Chelsea freshman football won at Tecumseh on Thursday, 37-0.

Kyle Knight had a 15-yard touchdown run and threw an 8-yard pass to Riley Sumner.  Sumner also had a 40-yard touchdown run.

Mitch Reynolds added a 60-yard touchdown run.  John Davis also scored from 2 yards out.  Summer also made a 23-yard field goal in the game.

Chelsea had six interceptions in the game. Aidan Boote, Garrett Steele, Drew Lewis, and Brad Fischer all picked off passes. Steele, Sam Michael, and Mason Pustay were the leading tacklers in the game.

“Tecumseh struggled to take care of the ball, and gave us numerous chance to put up some points,” the coach said. “Our kids really seem to be enjoying the success of their teammates. That is great to see.”

Chelsea next plays at home vs. Adrian.
