(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with businesses that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce. This week it’s Victory Lane Quick Oil Change.)
Victory Lane Quick Oil Change has been open in Chelsea since 1992. It’s located at 920 S. Main St. and offers services that include full oil change, transmission fluid service, radiator antifreeze and coolant service, battery replacement, power steering flush service, and tire rotation.
Derrick Oxender owns the franchise for Victory Lane in Chelsea.
“It’s a real hometown feel in Chelsea and we treat customers like guests in a restaurant,” said Oxender. “Chelsea people are friendly, and our best advertising is word of mouth.”
He says the business attracts a wide range of clientele, from high school kids getting their first oil change to retirees who have been coming there for more than 20 years.
“Being in the Chelsea Chamber is a good way to stay in touch with other businesses and the community,” said Oxender. “It’s also a good way for people from out of town to find businesses.”
