Dec. 7-8: Ballet Chelsea presents ‘The Nutcracker’

Ballet Chelsea will present its 16th annual Nutcracker on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Chelsea High School Performing Arts Complex.

This family favorite is a full-length, narrated ballet, choreographed by Ballet Chelsea Artistic Director Wendi DuBois.

More than 60 accomplished area dancers, ages 8-18, from Washtenaw, Jackson, and Livingston counties, delight audiences as they bring this classic story to life. Enriched by stunning costumes, elaborate sets and live pyrotechnics, Ballet Chelsea’s production has become a local holiday tradition.

Prices are:  Adults $18, Seniors $15, Students/Tea $12.

Parking is free.
