The Chelsea Saturday Farmers Market will kick off the outdoor season on Saturday, May 6 in a new, but familiar, location the municipal parking lot next to the Chelsea First United Methodist Church and adjacent to the library along Park Street from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There is parking on the side streets or behind the Purple Rose Theatre or across the street behind the Chelsea State Bank.
In addition to all of your favorite vendors, the market will once again feature musical entertainment, a kids’ tent with activities for children of all ages, and monthly food demonstrations.
(Beginning next week, Chelsea Update will resume its coverage of which vendors to expect and the items they expect to have for sale for both markets. )
