Julie Ann (Eschelbach) Bolgos of Pinckney, formerly of Ann Arbor, age 68, died Monday, May 21, 2018 in her home.
She was born Feb. 6, 1950 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Neil Alfred and Mary J. (Thurow) Eschelbach.
Julie graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1968. On September 12, 1970, she married the love of her life, William Jeffrey Bolgos in Ann Arbor. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2008. Julie and Jeff lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Clearwater, Florida before returning to Ann Arbor to raise their daughters.
Julie was a voracious reader and news watcher, known for her phenomenal memory and arcane knowledge about any number of subjects. She loved the outdoors and when not working on a landscaping project or doing some sort of household cleaning or maintenance she enjoyed spending her days on the lake or thumping friends and family in horseshoes and cornhole.
The family will receive visitors at Cole Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 30 from 3-8 pm. A private service will be held at a later date.
