Open to all women in Chelsea and the surrounding area, the Women’s Bible Study of the Chelsea Free Methodist Church again offers another Beth Moore session to those who want to dig deeper into God’s Word. The next series of classes, “Beloved Disciple” is based on “The Life and Ministry of John” and begins Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Washington Street Education Center, 500 Washington Street, Building 400 (CFMC’s Activity Center).
Classes continue weekly through Dec. 6. The workbooks for this session are $20 each and are available at the first class for those who pre-register.
Walk-in participants may purchase workbooks on Sept. 20 while supplies last.

Women of all ages, faith backgrounds, and levels of understanding of the Bible are welcome. The emphasis of the group will be to engage women in an authentic discussion about God’s Word and, with newfound knowledge, be challenged to apply their learning to their life in a practical, everyday, ordinary way.
Each class consists of a brief introduction by the session leaders, Laurie Gravelyn or Joanne Pieper, small group discussions on the current week’s lesson, and a Beth Moore video presentation of the next week’s lesson.
Moore walks participants through John’s many Biblical writings and revelations to learn why John referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved. Every disciple and early follower of Christ left a legacy for future believers. John’s legacy was love. Perhaps like no other disciple, John understood that relationship is the point.
