14 Beach Middle School swimmers to compete in MISCA state invite

Fourteen members of the Beach Middle School Swim and Diving Team will be heading to Holt High School this weekend to compete in the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA) State Invitational.

Eighth grade co-captain, Bella Turner has qualified in 7 out of 8 individual events and will compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle as well as the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

Parker Olk has qualified in 6 individual events and will compete in the diving event, 100 freestyle, the 200 Medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.

Seventh grader Riley Monahan qualified in 5 individual events and will compete in the 100 and 200 freestyle events and the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

Other individual qualifiers are Landen Collins in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Jared Atkinson in the 100 IM and 100 breaststroke, Devon Reginaldo in diving, Chelsea Paddock in the 100 IM and 100 breastroke and McKenna Fletcher in diving. Additional relay qualifiers include Stephen Levine, Beck Elandt, Lucas Hopkins, Kate Gaiser, Amelia Christie and Jessica Neff.
