“I am proud of the students that we are acknowledging with our highest academic distinction,” said Nick Angel, Beach Middle School principal.

“I am always so impressed with our Academic Honorees a every year. Knowing how rigorous our curriculum is, and how high our teachers’ expectations are, maintaining a 4.0 is a real challenge. These students are beyond impressive,” said Matt Ceo, assistant principal.

In lieu of the banquet that is held every year in Pinckney and in conjunction with our SEMMLAA (Southeast Michigan Middle Level Administration Association) group, this year we are holding a breakfast to honor these students.

“They have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence that should be acknowledged,” Angel said.

These students will receive a certificate along with a personal message from their team of teachers.

Additionally, these students selected 6th grade math/science teacher, Kevin Tykoski to be the honored educator of the year. This is a huge honor for any educator and it is Tykoski’s first time being selected.
