The Beach Middle School Gold-White Field Hockey squad came up short on Wednesday to Pinckney, 1-0.
The defense from Harper Williams and Izzy Murphy was incredible with multiple open field stops.
Vivian Manahan, Catie Van Hoek, Avery Piatt, and Elle Dunahoo helped move the ball up the field in the effort.
Thursday night, the Blue-White squad defeated Saline, 4-0.
Elizabeth “E” Lane was on goal and Harper Williams made an amazing save to secure the shutout.
Scorers were Keygan Monahan unassisted, Abbie Nye on a 23 stack insert play, Teresa Smith assisted by Hayley Hopkins, and Hopkins again on an insert assisted by Teresa Smith, Slater Boos, and Keygan Monahan.
The BMS Hockey team is 7-6 overall on the season with 2 game days left.
The Field Hockey team plays in the Middle School Challenge at Dexter today. Come out and watch some hockey at Dexter HS to support your team.
Thursday, they take on Honey Creek in the Play4the Cure Challenge to support Cancer Research.
