2 not-to-miss rummage sales

There will be lots of garage and rummage sales going on during the Chelsea Sounds and Sights Festival and here are two that were sent to me.

The Chelsea First United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27.

Proceeds will benefit the church’s mission initiatives in this community and around the world. Plus, some of the proceeds will also benefit the library.

Items for sale include clothing, shoes, books, CDs and VHS tapes for $1 each and winter coats, furniture, tools, DVDs, and household goods that range in price from $5-$100.

On Saturday, all items that remain will be 50-percent off.

Rummage-sale-flyersSt. Paul United Church of Christ will hold a one-day rummage sale as a fundraiser for both the church and Faith in Action.

The sale will be held Saturday, July 27 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church, 14600 Old U.S. 12. And, you can stop by before all the festival events begin downtown.

For more information call 475-2545.
