5 Healthy Towns Foundation is accepting applications for an Intramural Sports and Recreation Coordinator (ISC) position.
This position will serve as the point person for a new, exciting inter-community project that seeks to work with schools, local government, park systems and other organizations to leverage assets in our community into vibrant recreation hubs.
Under the direction of the Regional Planning Manager, the ISC will bring services and technical resources to the communities of Chelsea, Dexter, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge and work in partnership with existing organizations to establish intramural sports and recreation programming for community members over the age 18, with select parts of the program intended specifically for other target populations such as youth and seniors.
The ideal candidate possesses strong intercultural skills, a passion for establishing new sports and recreation opportunities, and an ability to work harmoniously with other community stakeholders to maximize the impact of resources and assets in each of the 5 healthy towns. This individual will oversee all 5H lead intramural activities and coordinates schedules and activities with partner organizations as needed.
