The Beach Middle School 7th grade blue volleyball team won their first of the season on Monday, Sept. 17, beating Dexter 25-18 in the first game, 25-15 in the second game and losing the third game 13-25.
Zoe Steigerwald led the way with 10 service points, Sydney Hines and Kara Nold each had 4, Paige Romelhardt and Serena Adams each had 3, Peyton Vandegrift and Nina White had 2 points each, and Emily Griggs, Melissa Jolly, Claire Kelly, Lexi Clark and Sabrina Matusko had 1 point each, said Dave Brinklow in an announcement, adding, “Congratulations girls.”
