Reminder: Chelsea Theatre Guild’s Mamma Mia on Nov. 8-9

The Chelsea High School Theatre Guild presents its fall musical Mamma Mia! on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This musical is based on the classic movie as 20-year-old Sophie endeavors to figure out who her dad is before her wedding date. She invites the three possible dads to her wedding against her mother Donna’s wishes, but everything soon goes awry as each dad realizes why they were brought here.

Sophie’s white wedding preparations soon transform into chaos as old feelings reemerge, fights explode, and everybody redefines what it means to be a family, all within the bounds of classic ABBA songs such as “Does Your Mother Know”, “Dancing Queen”, and “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!”.

Tickets are available at the door or at www.chstheatreguild.com under the tickets tab.
