Chelsea Kiwanis Continues Support of Local Groups

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club second annual Gourmet Nut and Chocolate Sale has concluded.

Club members are so grateful to the Chelsea community for purchasing the items from club members. Proceeds from the sale are being used to support the 30+ groups in the area we are assisting. 

Recent donations include:

  • Chelsea Senior Center’s Intergenerational Garden, where seniors work with children to plant, tend, and harvest in the garden.
  • SRSLY – to help our youth avoid substance abuse.
  • Faith in Action – to assist families in need
  • Ele’s Place – where children receive grief counseling after loss of a loved one.

Monday will be the first in-person meeting in months. The club will meet at Chelsea’s Coney Island for a bite to eat and a work project to benefit some worthy local groups.
