Feb. 8: Malorie Evans to Speak to the Chelsea Evening Primrose Garden Club

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jodi Smolek for the information in this story.)

The Evening Primrose Garden Club is pleased to welcome Malorie Evans, owner of Honeybaby Homestead, as our Feb. 8 program speaker. She grows a variety of flowers on her rural homestead in Manchester with a cut-flower yard revolving around an 1863 farmhouse.

The Feb. 8 program runs from 7-8:15 p.m. at the Chelsea Depot, 125 Jackson St.

Evans creates and sells seasonal offerings of floral arrangements, nature driven designs, hand woven evergreen & everlasting wreaths, and dried & pressed flowers. You may have seen Mallory’s wreaths and flowers at Agricole Farm Stop in Chelsea.

Mallorie’s presentation will include her gardening practices, words of wisdom regarding bringing cut flowers from our gardens into our homes, sustainable minor-waste bouquet building, and much, much more.

This event is brought to you by the Evening Primrose Garden Club and is open to the public. A variety of drinks and appetizers will be served.

The cost: club members are free, non-members $5.
